Smart Aesthetics at IMCAS 2026: A Preview of the Questions We’re Exploring

BioScience returns to IMCAS with a focused scientific symposium built around one central theme: Smart Aesthetics. This year’s 90-minute session, titled “Smart Aesthetics: Hybrid Biostimulatory Excellence for the Face, Targeted Precision for the Body,” explores the clinical shifts shaping modern aesthetic practice, covering topics that range from advanced biostimulatory techniques to body contouring with precision.

Add the event to your calendar, we have got a lot in store for you that you would not want to miss!

Here’s a closer look at what the agenda covers and the key topics that our panel of global aesthetic experts will be addressing.

Welcome & Scientific Introduction – Dr. Jani van Loghem

The symposium opens with expert insights from Dr. van Loghem, who frames the session's direction and gets the conversation going. He will be moderating the entire session across diverse topics on the future of smart aesthetics, like facial biostimulation and body contouring.

The Future of Biostimulation in Facial Aesthetics – Dr. Gabriela Casabona

Facial aesthetics has long focused on volume restoration, but this focus is now shifting. In this segment, Dr. Casabona presents how biostimulation is redefining facial rejuvenation by offering solutions that do more than just fill in any lost volume.

The session will examine where biostimulatory injectables stand today, what benefits they offer beyond immediate correction, and how clinicians can integrate them for long-term skin health and structural support. The conversation centers around one key question: How do we achieve lasting, natural-looking results that support tissue quality over time?

Genefill DX - The Ultimate HA+DX Hybrid – Dr. Mariam Tsivtsivadze

As hybrid fillers start to gain momentum, the innovative biostimulatory filler from BioScience, Genefill DX, is at the forefront. Dr. Tsivtsivadze’s presentation explores the clinical impact of combining hyaluronic acid (HA) with dextranomer (DX) particles.

In her session, she will be highlighting what makes Genefill DX unique in a growing field of advanced injectables with a special focus on its potential in stimulating collagen as well as elastin production, while also providing structure.

HYAcorp MLF1 – Precision Contouring in Calves, Hands & Small Areas – Dr. Miguel Bravo

Targeted treatment for small, anatomically challenging areas is a growing demand. Dr. Bravo will be discussing how HYAcorp MLF1 enables practitioners to approach areas like calves, hands, and other delicate zones with confidence.

This session addresses not only the technique but the need for precision in patient selection, volume placement, and natural outcomes in regions often overlooked in body contouring.

High-Volume Shaping with HYAcorp MLF2 – Buttocks & Hips – Dr. Kai O. Kaye

Large-area contouring, especially in the gluteal and hip regions, requires products formulated for performance and predictability. Dr. Kaye will be offering a clinical breakdown of HYAcorp MLF2, and its role in high-volume body shaping in his segment.

Expect a discussion grounded in anatomy, safety, and proportional enhancement, with emphasis on shaping outcomes that maintain harmony and realism.

Real-World Insights – Dr. Rosh Ravindran, Dr. Ahmad Moukalled, & Dr. Roberto Chacur

Following the product-focused presentations, this panel will be drawing from practice-based evidence. Drs. Ravindran, Moukalled, and Chacur will be sharing how they’ve implemented HYAcorp and Genefill dermal fillers in various patient contexts, offering a perspective on outcomes, treatment strategies, and patient satisfaction.

The conversation is designed to bridge science with everyday practice while offering clinicians a candid view of what works and what to consider when integrating new aesthetic technologies.

Q&A and Closing Statements – Dr. Jani van Loghem

The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to raise clinical questions directly with the expert panel and delve deeper into key discussion points.
